5 Tips for Personal Transformation

By Stylelife Coaches

Not everyone is given an natural skill, but you must have the drive to reach your goal. Check these five things to begin:

TIP #1: Embrace the Pain

As you journey towards your goal, there will be things to overcome that may slow you down. Never give up. You will be a stronger person in the end.

The Terminator once recalled his bodybuilding days and said, "The last three or four reps is what makes the muscles grow. This area of pain divides a champion from someone who is not a champion. That's what most people lack, having the guts to go on and just say they'll go through the pain no matter what happens."

Welcome the pain to success and enjoy the journey.

TIP #2: Take Off the Lid

Perception is reality. Your limits are self imposed. As long as you are aware of this, the things you can accomplish will be endless.

TIP #3: Understand that Obstacles are Part of the Journey

Well known Professor Randy Pausch observed that walls in life serve their purpose.

They are made to keep all of those who don't want it badly enough OUT. You however are the exception. You will find a way to continue forward and make it past that wall.

TIP #4: Be a Beginner and Be an Expert

Don't be cocky with your skill level. Keep an open mind to learning whether it be beginner or advanced. Stand fast as you never know when lessons will present themselves.

Tip #5: Dream BIG

Make short span goals that build to your long term goal. You will feel more accomplished which will help you work harder to reach the big one! Refer to earlier tip #2... Reach as high as possible and you will surprise yourself everytime.

When you were younger did you wonder what you would grow up to be? Was it a fireman or president of the United States? Reacquaint yourself with that kid you use to be and dream those ideas.

Ask yourself, what are your dreams NOW...because you must have those dreams to bring them into reality. And you can. And you will.
